HYDE PARK, N.Y. – Two organizations, Ulster County’s Mohonk Preseve and Teaching the Hudson Valley, are cosponsoring a workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 18.: Creating Access for All: Universally Designed Outdoor Learning Experiences. The workshop will guide educators in making public spaces, both indoor and outdoor, accessible to all students.
The workshop lead, Kathy Ambrosini, is the director of education at Mohonk Preserve. She and her staff have made outdoor programs accessible for diverse participants.
The workshop will be held from 9:30 a.ml to 3:30 p.m. at the Henry A. Wallace Education and Visitor Center at the FDR Home and Presidential Library in Hyde Park. A $25 registration fee covers materials, continental breakfast, and lunch.
