Lane Reduction To Slow Traffic On Busy Interstate In Northern Westchester: Here's Where Traffic on a stretch of I-684 in Westchester and Fairfield counties is set to be affected by a series of lane reductions, officials announced.  Both directions of Interstate 684 in North Castle and Greenwich, between Exit 2 (Route 120) and Exit 3 (Route 22) will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and Thursday, Sept. 5, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The lane closures will be put into place between 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 5 a.m. on Thursday.  The traffic impacts will allow crews to perform bridge work, officials said.

Greenwich Woman Accused Of Sending Explicit Texts On Ways To Kill Her Mom A 20-year-old Fairfield County woman is behind bars after allegedly texting explicit messages describing the different ways she wanted to kill her mother. Catherine Harper, of Greenwich, was arrested on a warrant on Friday, Jan. 5 for the text she sent on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023. According to Lt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police, Harper was charged with threatening and held on a $50,000 bond which she could not make.  Police did not provide additional information regarding who she sent the text to.  This is a developing story.
