NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- While a remake of "Beauty and the Beast" is opening in movie theaters this month, North Salem residents can also watch a live-action version closer to home.
North Salem Middle/High School students will be performing in three renditions of the play, which is based on Disney's original animated movie from 1992. The first is set for March 17 at 7:30 p.m., while the second will be on March 18 at the same time. The third will be on March 19 at 2 p.m.
All performances will be held at the school.
Tickets are $10 when purchased in advance and $15 at the door.
