It happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 in Hicksville.
According to Nassau County Police detectives, an unknown man approached three male victims in Broadway Deli located at 23 Broadway and asked for money.
An argument ensued inside the deli and continued outside. After exiting the deli, the subject displayed an unknown sharp item and slashed two of the victims, ages 38 and 45, in the face. The suspect then fled northbound on Broadway.
The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as being white, in his mid-20s, about 6-foot tall, 170 pounds with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored sweatshirt and black hat and had a red backpack.
