North Salem Workers Plead Guilty To Stealing Hay From Lois Colley Estate

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – Two workers plead guilty to stealing more than $30,000 of hay from the Lois Colley estate in North Salem Thursday, according to lohud.com.

Angel H. Parra Penafiel, 34, and Hugo Ramirez-Morales 35, were charged with third-degree grand larceny after police discovered the almost three-year old scam in the course of their investigation of the November 2015 murder of Colley in her home, as previously reported by Daily Voice.

Both men lived on the estate as farm workers, stealing and selling the hay from February 2013 to November 2015.

Colley's murder remains unsolved.
