A 38-year-old Northern Westchester man was charged with two DWIs after Yorktown Police say he fled the scene of a car crash on Crow Hill Road near the Mount Kisco border on Monday afternoon.
Victor Melchor of Croton was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with blood-alcohol content of .18 percent or more, both misdemeanors and leaving the scene of a property damage accident, a traffic infraction.
Police were able to locate Melchor on Route 129 and found him to be intoxicated and driving without a license. He was arrested at the scene and transported back to headquarters.
He was released on $150 bail and is due back in court on Jan. 4.
