NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The Westchester Medical Examiner's Office has identified remains found in the Titicus Reservoir as those of Val and Taew Horsa, according to News 12 Westchester.
The South Salem couple had been missing since a single-engine plane crashed into the reservoir on Nov. 19.
Divers with the Department of Environmental Protection scoured the reservoir for more than a week after the crash, eventually recovering parts of the plane along with the human remains.
A preliminary report released by the National Transportation Safety Board said the cause of the crash remains unclear.
According to the News 12 report, the full investigation may take up to a year to complete.
