North Salem Abduction Trial Summations Set To Start Thursday

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Closing arguments are scheduled in the trial of the men accused of abducting a drug dealer, driving him to a wooded area in North Salem, beating him and leaving him to die, according to an article on LoHud.com.

Travis Morin, 25, of Danbury, N.H., and Patrick Smith, 26, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., are being tried in the killing of Epifanio Medina, 65, of Passaic, N.J., whose body was discovered June 12, 2011, by two horseback riders, according to the article.

Morin, Smith, and a third man, Charles Blanchard, 22, of Hill, N.H., are accused of beating and stabbing Medina before robbing him and leaving him in the woods, the article said.
