North Salem Honors Local Veteran On Memorial Day

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- North Salem honored a local veteran on Memorial Day with a celebration at the new Croton Falls Fire Department.

A proclamation was passed by the North Salem Town Board and read by Warren Lucas, Town Supervisor, naming Monday "Herb Geller Day," in honor of his long participation and leadership in the American Legion and his dedication to the North Salem, according to an announcement.
