NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – David Letterman of North Salem is planning what to say on his final episode of “The Late Show” that will air later this month, while CBS will be presenting a special look back on Letterman's tenure in a primetime special at 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Letterman, 68, has hosted the show since 1993 and is retiring after decades in the television industry.
Stephen Colbert will take over Letterman’s hosting role.
