Monday, Jan. 21

Baumler Fundraiser: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Play baseball, basketball or dodgeball to help rebuild the Baumler home destroyed in Superstorm Sandy. Cash or check donations can be made at the door. All proceeds go directly to the Baumler family. The event takes place at Frozen Ropes, 69 Kenosia Ave., Danbury, Conn.  

Ruth Keeler Memorial Library: The library is closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

North Salem Schools: All schools are closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Tuesday, Jan. 22

Children's Events at the Keeler: 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Events begin with Mother Goose Story Time for babies at 10:30 a.m. The Children's Craft hour is at 4 p.m. It's at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

North Salem Town Board: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet at the North Salem Town House Annex, 274 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Wednesday, Jan. 23

North Salem Board of Education: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet in the library of the Middle/High School, 230 June Road, North Salem.

Thursday, Jan. 24

Puppets With Elizabeth: 10:30 a.m. This popular event is suitable for all ages. It's at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.
