Stamford Adventurer To Address Appalachian Mountain Club In Bethel

BETHEL, Conn. — Adventurer, traveler and photographer David Roberts will make an audio-visual presentation entitled, “It’s a Wild, Wild World” to the Appalachian Mountain Club on Tuesday, June 14 at St. Thomas Church in Bethel.

Stamford-based David Roberts is a retired corporate executive who has traveled to nearly 70 countries and every continent to explore and photograph various natural landscapes. Roberts has given more than 20 presentations at AMC events. His latest presentation will feature landscapes, people, and wildlife from Africa, North and South America, Asia, the Arctic, and Antarctica as well as information regarding hiking destinations.

Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the presentation at 7:30 p.m. The presentation will last about one hour with time afterwards for questions or discussions. The cost of attending this presentation is $6 for AMC members and $8 for non-members at the door, no reservations necessary.

St. Thomas Church is located at 95 Greenwood Ave.
