Ruth Keeler Library To Host Continuing Programs

NORTH SALEM, N.Y.  -- Ruth Keeler Memorial Library will be holding programs throughout February and March.

Below is a schedule of events, times and dates. 

Conversation with Local Gardeners: Saturday 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, Saturday, March 15. Informal discussion about gardening.

Bagels and Books Book Discussion Group: The first Thursday of the month at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6. "The Cat's Table," by Michael Ondaatje

Night Time Arts with Maggie Zander Orling Every Monday evening at 7 p.m. Open to all, beginners and experts - a relaxed and fun evening. The library supplies the materials for drawing and working with collage and assemblage.

History and Biography Book Club: This new book group will meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the library. It is open to all on a drop-in basis.

Master of the Mountain:Thomas Jefferson and his Slaves by Henry Wiencek: Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m.:

Factory Girls by Leslie Chang: Tuesday, March 11

Writers' Workshop: The first Wednesday of the month at 11 a.m.,  Wednesday, Feb. 5,  Wednesday, March 5. For writers and aspiring writers who want to share their work in a supportive atmosphere. Led by Pam Pooley.

Page Dickey will talk about her favorite gardens at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library Association Annual Meeting on Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m. Guest speaker Page Dickey, author of "Some of My Favorite Gardens and Why."
