Hosted by Adam Oliensis of LoHud Comedy, the event will feature stand-up comedians Charles McBee, Joanne Filan and Doug Adler.

"The great success of our first Comedy Night tells us there is a lot of pent-up demand for comedy-club type entertainment in our area," said James Shearwood, executive director of The Schoolhouse Theater, in a press release. "Everyone who loves to laugh is invited to join us for a second round of side-splitting entertainment."

McBee, who runs his own web series called “It’s a Chucked Up Life,” has been called a “hilariously inventive comedian as well as a terrific actor,” by Rick Crom, the director of new talent for The Comedy Cellar in New York City.

Filan regularly performs at the Gotham Comedy Club, The Laugh Factory and Caroline’s in New York City, according to a press release. Adler has made frequent appearances at Broadway Comedy, Ha! Comedy Club and the Laugh Lounge following a successful run on the New York Underground Comedy Festival.

The Schoolhouse Theater plans to hold more comedy events.

"We hope to make Comedy Night a monthly feature as well as inaugurate an Open Mic for local talent and offer a stand-up comedy class," said Shearwood.

Tickets for Comedy Night II cost $20 each and can be purchased by calling the box office at 914-277-8477 or online by clicking here. Due to the previous event’s success, advanced purchase is recommended.
