M&T Bank Exec Named Chair Of United Way Of Coastal Fairfield County
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Samuel Tingley, administrative vice president and group manager for commercial banking at M&T Bank, has been appointed chair of the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County.
Providing work place and academic assistance to people who live and work throughout the area, the Coastal Fairfield branch serves 12 communities, including Bridgeport, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston, Westport and Wilton.

Missing Poodle, Beagle Reunited With Owners In Bedford
BEDFORD, N.Y. -- A pair of lost dogs in the Bedford Hills/Katonah area have been reunited with their owners.
The dogs, Morton, a mini poodle, and his adopted “sibling,” Cassie, a beagle, both went missing on Saturday.
Although both dogs had tags, they were also both new to the Bedford area, and therefore unfamiliar with their surroundings.
Information about them was posted at Lost PETS of Westchester County’s Facebook page, but the matter was quickly resolved.
In the end, the owners were able to locate the dogs, just hours after their excursion began.
