Detectives with the Nassau County Police Department say the woman was walking at the intersection of Langdon Street and Doris Avenue in Franklin Square on Monday, Nov. 18 around 5 p.m.

Police say the victim was struck by a UPS truck traveling northbound on Doris Avenue that subsequently left the scene.

The victim sustained multiple trauma injuries, police say. She was transported to a local hospital and is listed in serious but stable condition.
