SLATE HILL, N.Y. -- A funeral was held Thursday for Minisink Valley High School student, Mauricio Heredia, 17, who was killed in an automobile crash on Route 6 in Wawayanda, Time Warner Cable News reported.

The teenager reportedly lost control of his vehicle, crashed into a ditch, hit a rock and flipped over, state police told Time Warner Cable News.
