Nicole Tomite, of Poughkeepsie, turned herself into the town of Poughkeepsie Police on Tuesday, June 18, after a warrant was issued for her arrest in connection to a burglary that took place April 17, on School Street, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police, Capt. Kevin Faber.

According to Faber, police received a call in April from a resident that she returned home and found that it had been burglarized and that items were missing.

During an investigation, Tomite, who knows the victim, was identified as the suspect, he said.

She was charged with felony burglary and is being held at the Dutchess County Jail on $5,000 bail/$10,000 bond.

Tomite is scheduled to appear in court on June 21.
