Tucker suffered leg injuries in the crash, and both drivers were airlifted to the Albany Medical Center for treatment of multiple injuries, while a passenger in Lowy’s car was taken to Dutchess Hospital.

While investigating the crash and speaking with Lowy, it was determined that he was impaired by drugs, and he was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Lowy, 64, was released following his arrest and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Saugerties Court on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
