There were heavy delays on a stretch of the Hutchinson River Parkway late Friday afternoon after a serious motor vehicle crash had initially resulted in the closure of all southbound lanes.
An accident investigation is ongoing.
The closure was between Pelham Parkway (Exit 3) and Westchester Avenue (Exit 2).
