Man Admits To Stabbing Woman At Stop & Shop In Westchester
A convicted felon reportedly admitted that he stabbed a former coworker in a Westchester Stop & Shop four years ago.
Joseph Joy, an ex-employee at Stop & Shop in North White Plains, has admitted to the stabbing in December 2016.
According to police, shortly after 5 p.m. on Dec. 9, 2016, Joy, a White Plains resident, entered the Stop & Shop location on North Broadway and attacked the employee with a knife, prompting several emergency 911 calls from her co-workers.
Joy, distracted by customers and staff, fled the store but was taken into custody without incident upon the arrival…
