The new Taco Project at 596 North Ave. in New Rochelle will hold a grand opening hosted by the city's Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, April 15 at 10:45 a.m.

This marks the sixth location for owners Nick Mesce, Sebastian Aliberti, and Carmelo Milio, and one of their largest to date, offering both on-street and garage parking for customers.

Known for its fresh and flavorful menu featuring tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, churros, margaritas, and Mexican-inspired favorites, The Taco Project is also an eight-time "Best of Westchester" winner.

Under the direction of Chef Juan Aguero, the New Rochelle location will also feature a weekend brunch menu every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with items like carne asada tacos, breakfast burritos, Taco Project waffles, and bottomless brunch cocktails.

The chain has other locations in Yonkers, Tarrytown, Bronxville, Pleasantville, and Stamford, Connecticut.

Following the ribbon-cutting on Tuesday, the Grand Opening celebration kicks off at 11 a.m., complete with exciting prizes and giveaways such as free tacos for the first 50 customers, the chance to win free Taco Tuesdays for a year, and an opportunity to spin a giveaway wheel for gift cards, merch, and more.
