Yonkers Cab Driver Robbed YONKERS, N.Y. – A Yonkers cab driver says he was robbed early Tuesday morning by two armed men, according to News 12. Quaiser Zaidi says he was punched and robbed by assailants at St. Mark's Place near McLean Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Zaidi was held at gunpoint as the robbers stole his cellphone and cash, reported News 12. Fairfield Could See Round Of Thunderstorms FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Fairfield County will be dealing with thunderstorms over the next few days. While the National Weather Service forecast for rain ranges between 20 and 30 percent Wednesday and Thursday, with a much higher chance on Friday. The odds for rain on Friday are 70 percent, with thunderstorms likely. Forecasts are predicting anywhere between one-half to three-quarters an inch of rain, with precipitation possible straight through Tuesday. Temps are expected to range in the low 80s through Tuesday, with evening highs in the mid-to-high 60s.

Kristen Griest, of Orange, passed the program along with Shaye Haver of Texas. Ranger training takes place over 62 days, and features three stages at Fort Benning in Georgia, in the Appalachian mountains, and in the swamps of Florida, reported the Advocate. Peekskill Man Charged With Unlawfully Collecting Unemployment PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – A Peekskill man was arrested by state police and charged with unlawfully collecting unemployment last Wednesday. Wagner Alava-Giler, 35, is accused of collecting at least $7,400 in unemployment benefits. He had certified that he was unemployed while actually working. State police charged Alava-Giler with two first-degree felonies: offering a false instrument for filing and falsifying business records. Alava-Giler was to appear in Peekskill Town Court today.

While the company's earnings were slightly above projections, the stock numbers were below projections.
