Cooper, who is headed to Northeastern University in the fall, won the weight throw for the second straight year and finished second in the shot put, up from fifth in last year's meet, lohud.com said.
Another New Rochelle resident, Iona Prep's Andrew Cannistraci, broke his personal record in the shot put by four feet with a winning mark of more than 62 feet, reported lohud.com.
Cannistraci also will attend Northeastern in the fall.
