NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle High School, What Would Daniel Do Club and adviser Lauren Lanigan recently hosted one of the founders of Sandy Hook Promise for an assembly about creating a positive school culture and the innumerable benefits of such a culture for all students.
Mark Barden, founder and managing director at Sandy Hook Promise, spoke to more than 200 students about the organization's mission and his son, Daniel, a victim of the December 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting.
