Welcome back! I love September –that chance to start again, to improve, to work smarter and do more for our kids. New Rochelle is a place where all means all, a place where we can prove to the world that students from all backgrounds can be successfully educated together.

As we launch into the new school year, we are particularly proud of the Webster school community; they seized the opportunity to model persistence for our students in the face of adversity, and ably met the challenge of starting the year at Holy Family Elementary School. We expect Webster will be safely returned to their newly renovated home by Jan. 4, 2016. In the meantime, please be assured that we have checked the ceiling construction in all of our buildings to make sure they are safe.

Most importantly, we will continue to push and support our young people to learn and grow academically, athletically and artistically. We invite you to learn all the latest news throughout the year about our students and the district by:

New this year is our Web Store, which provides an easy, secure way to pay online for grades 6- 12 Metro Cards and the K-12 food service lunch program. Please go to the district website for further details. You can also check up-to-date athletic schedules HERE and download an app for your smart phone.

Finally, keep in touch with us and be sure to update your contact information at your school, including home phone numbers, mobile phone numbers and email addresses. We look forward to sharing important information and exciting news with you as the year progresses. Best wishes for a fantastic school year!
