New Rochelle Changes Dismissal Times For Elementary School Half Days

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- New Rochelle school officials are notifying parents about changes in bussing and dismissal times for half days throughout the district.

On days when only elementary schools are dismissed early, the dismissal time will be 11:40 a.m.
On days when all schools are dismissed early, the elementary schools will be dismissed at 11:10 a.m., and the secondary schools will be dismissed at noon.

Elementary Schools will be dismissed at 11:40 a.m. on the following days:

Sept. 7, Dec. 12, Dec. 19, March 6, June 12, June 21, June 22, June 23.

The elementary schools will get out at 11:10 a.m. on Sept. 26, Oct. 19, Nov. 28 and Jan. 9.

The changes were made in an effort to presesrve instructional time.

Parents are advised to adjust childcare arrangements accordingly.
