Officials confirmed that early on Wednesday, crews were dispatched to Bob Hyland’s Sports Page Pub, where a small electrical fire broke out, causing minor trouble for responding firefighters, who quickly had any threat eliminated.

Sports Page Pub, which usually opens at noon on Wednesdays, will not be opening until 6 p.m. as cleanup efforts commence and an investigation into the electrical fire continues. There were no injuries reported, and Hamilton Avenue has since been reopened.

The fire comes on the heels of Hyland announcing that the recent Super Bowl thriller between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons may be his establishment’s last, due to the redevelopment of the White Plains Mall into a multi-use commercial and real estate project.
