Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing Fairfield County mother of five Jennifer Farber Dulos is facing additional legal problems as a bank moves to foreclose on one of his properties.

Dulos, who is out on bail after being charged evidence tampering and hindering prosecution in connection with his wife's May 24 disappearance,  may soon lose his New Canaan property after Danbury Savings Bank filed court papers on Monday, Dec. 9, to foreclose on property at 61 Sturbridge Hill Road.

A 7,000-square-foot home sits on the property and is one of the sites police searched after neighbors reported hearing loud banging noises coming from the home the day after Jennifer Dulos disappeared.

The bank is seeking the $2.8 million owed on the property that is owned by Dulos' company, the Fore Group.

According to New Canaan property records, the home and property were appraised at $3,846,000.

Dulos is also being sued by his mother-in-law, Gloria Farber, for $2.5 million she claims he owes the family in unpaid loans, in addition to foreclosing on his 14,000-square-foot Farmington home where he lives.

Dulos' allegedly quit making payments on the property and loans after Jennifer Dulos went missing. He is fighting both claims in court.

He is scheduled to appear in court on that case on Thursday, Jan. 9.
