NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Michael J. Pires, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died July 19.
To honor his life, a memorial gathering will be conducted from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
Born Oct. 25, 1951 to James and Carminda Pires, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served in the military police at Ft. Gordon, Ga.
Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he worked in the office furniture and marine supply businesses.
Piries was pre-deceased by his parents.
He is survived by his brother Steve (Irene), nephew Brian and niece Lori Magnante (Chris) and great niece and nephews Minda, Joseph and Brandon.
