NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Anthony J. Medaglia, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died Oct. 3. He was 86.
Medaglia was born Feb. 14, 1927, in the Bronx, to Cesare and Lucia Medaglia. He was a lithographer for Westchester Lithograph for over 30 years. He served in the Navy during World War II.
Medaglia is survived by his wife, Helen Houston; children, Diane (Joseph) Piedmont, Janet (Larry) DeVita, Lucy Medaglia and Anthony (Marylou) Medaglia; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Arthur (Bridget) Medaglia; and sisters, Jean McCormick and Edith Inbistone. He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters; and one brother.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 at Blessed Sacrament Church, New Rochelle. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Hospital, Bronx.
