NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- An 84-year-old New Rochelle man believes in donating blood. In fact, he believes in it so much he just donated for the 101st time since he began giving in 1970, according to News 12.

Joe Mamanna, a Marine Corps veteran, made the donation at the American Legion Post in Scarsdale on June 2. He insists he will keep doing it because he knows that 1 pint of blood can save three lives, said News 12.

The American Red Cross said that Mamanna can keep donating for as long as he wants, as there is no age limit on donating blood, added News 12.
