NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The STEM Project for March at the New Rochelle Boys & Girls Club's Mascaro Clubhouse is the Egg Drop Project.
Can you protect a falling egg?
Kids are brainstorming and sketching designs for containers to protect their egg from a fall of more than 20 feet.
For the entire month, they will be building their containers and on March 23, they will start dropping eggs.
The Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle provides programs for youth ages 6 to 18.
With four locations throughout the city of New Rochelle, it impacts almost 2,000 youth every year by offering a wide array of programs and services after school, during school holidays and the entire summer.
