NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- State Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins will be the guest at an informal Coffee and Conversation, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle, on Friday, April 15, at the New Rochelle Public Library.
Stewart-Cousins will discuss state issues and answer questions at the event. The public is invited. Coffee and light refreshments will be served at no charge.

Stewart-Cousins was elected by her colleagues to serve as leader of the Senate Democratic Conference in December 2012, becoming the first female leader of a legislative conference in New York State history.
She was first elected to the State Senate in 2006 and currently represents Greenburgh, part of New Rochelle, part of White Plains, part of Yonkers and Scarsdale.
Coffee and Conversation is an ongoing series of informal gatherings with guests discussing public issues.
