Connie Booth, a New Rochelle resident in her youth, turns 72 on Sunday.
Booth, an actress, comedienne, writer and psychotherapist, was born on Jan. 31, 1944, in Indianapolis.
She is best-known for her appearances in British film and television alongside then-husband John Cleese in the 1970s, appearing in episodes of “Monty Python's Flying Circus,” the film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” and writing and co-starring with Cleese in “Fawlty Towers.”
After Booth and Cleese divorced in 1978, Booth continued to act until 1995, quitting to become a licensed psychotherapist in London, where she currently lives with her husband, John Lahr.
