New Rochelle’s Summer Sounds Concert Series is back for a seventh season, bringing outdoor musical performances to the Hudson Park Bandshell every Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in July and August, staring on July 8.

Pack a picnic basket, roll out a blanket, enjoy the cool breeze from Long Island Sound, and take in an eclectic roundup of musicians, from mellow jazz, to opera, to country and western, to salsa, to an '80s tribute band. And it’s all free!

Here’s a full calendar.

The Summer Sounds series is sponsored by the New Rochelle Council on the Arts and is named in honor of Emil Paolucci, one of New Rochelle’s great musicians. Many thanks to Webster Bank and People’s United Bank for their sponsorship.
