The following special Friday night events have been added:

  • July 8: The Sound Shore Chorale performs "Pirates of Penzance Sing Along"
  • July 22: Spoken Word Night
  • Aug. 5: Rejoyce!, an evening of gospel music
  • Aug. 19: New Sounds, featuring rising bands

The concert series takes place at Hudson Park this summer.

Free concerts will also take place every Wednesday night from July 6 to August 25.

The additions are possible due to an anonymous $100,000 grant, which also enabled NRCA to upgrade the sound system, improve lighting and rent state-of-the-art restroom facilities.

Local food trucks will provide snacks and meals to hungry concertgoers.
