NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The Huguenot & New Rochelle Historical Association (HNRHA) will pay tribute to Motown at its annual fundraiser at the PAC House at Trinity St. Paul’s Church on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served and partygoers can participate in a silent auction, a raffle, and dance to music from the 1960s. There will be a costume contest with a prize going to the "best Motown look."
There will also be a special raffle of an MLB authenticated, framed 16" x 20" hand-signed Steiner collectible of New York Yankee Mark Teixeira.
Awards will be given to New Rochelle resident and sports writer Jeff Pearlman, educator and political trailblazer Pearl Quarles and historian and author Linda Tarrant-Reid.
Tickets for the event are $40 for adults, $20 for students and $75 for couples. Click here to purchase your tickets online.
Event proceeds will be used for the upkeep and operation of the historic Thomas Paine Cottage.
The PAC House is located at 311 Huguenot Street in New Rochelle.
