Long Island Restaurant Announces Closure After Foodborne Illness Incident Sickens Dozens A Long Island restaurant is permanently closing two weeks after dozens of people were sickened from a foodborne illness incident. The last day in business for Kumo Sushi & Steakhouse in Stony Brook will be Sunday, Sept. 24.
