Maxwell Jacob Friedman, the All Elite Wrestling World Champion and one of the biggest bad guys in professional wrestling, is being honored in his Nassau County hometown on Monday, April 3.

The Town of Oyster Bay is presenting the wrestler, also known as MJF, with the key to the city and proclaiming April 3 as Maxwell Jacob Friedman Day, ahead of AEW running the UBS Arena on Wednesday, April 5.

Friedman is a 2014 graduate of Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School, where he played football.

Since joining AEW in 2019, Friedman has been a mainstay in the main event, and won the AEW World Championship in Nov. 2022, much to the consternation of the fans.

Friedman is known for his microphone skills, being willing to say anything and everything to get booed and throw off his opponent.

Even before getting into wrestling, Friedman has been entertaining his fans his whole life.

In 2001, he appeared on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and sang "You Are My Sunshine," when he was just 5 years old
