Worker At Nassau County Market Accused Of Taking Photos Up Customer's Skirt

A worker at a market on Long Island has been charged with taking photos up a woman's skirt and allegedly surveilling other customers.

According to detectives, Jose Santana, 20, of Inwood, who is employed by Kolsave Market, in North Lawrence, was assisting a woman placing groceries into her vehicle when she felt his hand between her legs, Nassau County Police said. 

A subsequent investigation by responding officers determined that Santana placed his cell phone under her skirt, according to police.

Santana was placed into custody without incident. on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 22  

A further investigation by detectives revealed that Santana had multiple videos of the same nature involving other victims on his phone. It is believed that these videos were also taken at the market.

Santana is being charged with unlawful surveillance and will be arraigned on Friday, Aug. 23 at First District Court in Hempstead.
