Woman Wanted For Stealing Rolex Watches Valued At $22K From Nassau Macy's

A woman on Long Island allegedly went behind the counter at Macy’s in the Roosevelt Field Mall and later returned to the store to steal Rolex watches worth thousands of dollars, police said.

Nassau County Police investigators released a photo of a woman who allegedly walked into Macy’s in the East Garden City mall on Monday, Dec. 19, walked behind display counter, removed a set of display cabinet keys and walked off with them.

According to police, at approximately 6:10 p.m. on the day she allegedly stole the keys, the woman returned to the store, walked over to a Rolex watch display counter and used the keys to remove two watches from the case. Police said that after taking the watches, the woman proceeded to walk out of the store without making an attempt to pay.

The two Rolex watches have an estimated value of approximately $22,000.

Police described the woman as a 5-foot-5 light-skinned African American with a medium build. She is believed to be between 27 and 32 years old, with long, straight, dark hair, brown eyes, and a “broad nose.” At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a white shirt, black pants and a long tan colored mid-length coat.
