A reward has been offered by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers for information that leads to the arrest of a woman who allegedly bit a store employee after stealing nearly $1,000 in merchandise from Target in Setauket.
Police said that the suspect entered Target on Pond Path at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, and took various household items with a value of approximately $740.
According to police, while leaving the store with the stolen items, the suspect bit an employee and fled the scene without paying.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect, or incident, has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS anonymously.
