A man from West Babylon has been arrested for his alleged connection with a fatal overdose in Wantagh, police say.

Nassau County Police say an investigation of a fatal overdose in Wantagh led to the arrest of Derrick Donkor, 26, of West Babylon on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Donkor was placed under arrest without incident and faces charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to be arraigned at the First District Court in Hempstead on Friday, Sept. 20.
