An alleged armed robber who targeted several people at gunpoint in a Long Island home is on the loose, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers issued an alert as they attempt to locate a man who allegedly robbed several people who were in a Ronkonkoma home late last year.

According to police, a group of people were at a house on Michigan Street, when one of them took out a handgun and demanded cash and other items from the people in the home.

In total, the suspect took approximately $970 in cash and goods.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect, or who has information regarding his whereabouts, has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or submitting an anonymous tip online
