Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department’s Homicide Squad are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down the suspects connected to a homicide in Roosevelt.
According to police, shortly before 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, 30-year-old Shamel Williams was murdered in front of a home on West Fulton Street in Roosevelt, police said. Two others were wounded in the fatal incident but have recovered.
A $5,000 reward has been offered by Crime Stoppers for any information that leads to the arrests of anyone involved in the homicide. Anyone with information has been asked to contact police investigators by calling 1-800-244-TIPS (8477).
