Robbers Hold Two Nassau County Employees On Floor At Gunpoint, Police Say

Police are searching for three suspects in connection with an armed robbery in which the victims were held at gunpoint while lying on the floor, police said.

The robbery took place around 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 9, at Universal Envios Corp located on Nassau Road in Roosevelt, said the Nassau County Police.

According to detectives, the three men, wearing hoods that covered their heads and most of their faces, entered the business with one of the men brandishing a handgun.

Two employees inside, a 32-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, were ordered to get on the floor behind the counter while the men opened a cash register and removed an unknown amount of cash, police said.

The men then fled the location on foot. No injuries were reported.

The three men are described as being black, wearing all dark clothing.
