Suffolk County Crime Stoppers issued an alert as they seek the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a man who allegedly stole from Stop & Shop on Vets Highway in Islandia last month.
According to police, the suspect stole approximately $100 worth of groceries from the grocery store at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, and an alert was issued for his arrest.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect or shoplifting incident has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or submitting an anonymous tip online.
