Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who was caught on surveillance videotaping a woman and two girls while in a bathroom.

The incident took place around 9:21 p.m., Saturday, June 15, in Elmont, said the Nassau County Police.

According to detectives, a female victim, 38, was notified by her tenant that an unknown man was seen recording video through her window on Harrison Street. The window the man recorded is located in the victim’s bathroom.

The suspect used a cell phone to record while standing on the tenant’s covered porch. At the time of the incident, the homeowner’s sister, 24, and two female juveniles ages 15 and 6 were in the bathroom, police said.

The man fled the scene on foot.

He is described as being in his 20s and was wearing camouflage shorts, a light colored shirt, and dark sneakers.

Detective’s request anyone with information regarding the above incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
