Man Accused Of Stealing American Flag From Front Of Long Island House

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section Officers are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who stole property from the front of a home in Nesconset in August.

Police released a surveillance photo of a man who allegedly stole an American flag from the front of a Long Island home over the summer.

According to Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section investigators, the man - only described as Hispanic by police - stole the flag from a Nesconset home on Summit Drive at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7.

Anyone with information regarding the stolen flag, or who has information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or sending a tip through their mobile app.
